My Revelation of Unstoppable Self Confidence
Ok, I admit it. I am not a big reader. I am not one of those people who as child who found joy or solace in cuddling up in their room with a book, escaping into the magical or imaginary world of a book.
I was the kid who carefully placed every single doll and stuffed animal I owned in a big organized circle. I gave each one (not leaving anyone out) an itty bitty dixie cup of water and one saltine cracker. We would all talk, laugh, sing, and listen to music, as if I was leading some kind of group therapy. Hmmm, imagine that.
I have recently read Unstoppable Self Confidence by Andrew Leedham (cover to cover) which is a huge deal for me.
Unstoppable Self Confidence has challenged the ingrained thought patterns, beliefs, opinions, and mindset I previously felt were true.
In his book, Unstoppable Self Confidence, the author, Andrew Leedham is clear and confident in saying, “There’s nothing wrong with you, you’re not broken and don’t need fixing.
WOW!
WHAT? That’s a new concept.
From my early professional years as a Child Development Specialist until today, my mindset was that I was part of the “fixing” business. Right? People seek “counseling” in hopes of “fixing” what they perceive as a problem: a partner, kid, family member, job, friend, identity, behavior, marriage, relationship, sexual dysfunction, eating disorder, and many more. Fixing people.
Not according to Andrew.
There’s nothing wrong with you, you’re not broken and you don’t need fixing.
Here’s the bad news: 99% of people go through almost their whole lives never really feeling good about who they are, never really liking themselves and never thinking that they are enough. And as a result, they live a life that is a tiny fraction of what it could be, the life they have settled for instead of the life they dreamed of. If you are not yet living the life of your dreams, the chances are that this is you too.
“Here’s the good news: You already have everything you need to be confident and successful and to live the life you want on your terms. You only need to UNLEARN all the bad programming and wrong thinking that you’ve been given to unleash the incredible power within you. This book will show you how.”
Andrew Leedham
After finding himself at his absolute lowest point, Andrew Leedham went on a mission to discover the secrets to creating the unstoppable self-confidence of the 1%. What he discovered shocked him. That most teaching on confidence and success was not only wrong but also highly destructive. And that with the secrets he discovered you could transform your confidence and success, PERMANENTLY and FAST.
If you’re on the fence about reading this book:
This book is all about how to create the indestructible, natural confidence of the 1% who live life on their terms and achieve success in all they do. In this no-nonsense, application-specific guide, you’ll get the most powerful strategies and success principles to build the mindset and confidence that will make you unstoppable.
Most importantly, how I teach this is what makes the transformation of your confidence permanent.
STAND OUT MOMENTS FROM THE BOOK
“When you compare you are assuming that you are on the same journey as someone else. But you’re not – you’re on your journey.”

“Imagine if what others did only served as inspiration for you, to show you what was possible for you instead of making you feel like you have in some way fallen short?”
– – – – –
“Fear of success comes from feeling undeserving of success.”

“Do you ever wonder why some people who are incredibly talented, gifted, kind, honest, caring and decent don’t get what they desire in life whilst others who are far less talented, far less gifted, just seem to have things fall into place for them? The difference is what they expect and what they know they deserve. Those expectations create their reality just as your expectations create yours. Most people have distorted mental self-portraits because through bad teaching and programming they have been taught to focus on and to expect the negative, to expect things not to work out, to go wrong, to not last.”

“Remember that your subconscious mind acts in accordance with the feelings you feed it not the words.”

“Perfectionism is not the same thing as striving to be your best. Perfectionism is the belief that if we live perfect, look perfect and act perfect, we can minimize or avoid the pain of blame, judgement and shame. It’s a shield. It’s a twenty-ton shield that we lug around thinking it will protect us when, in fact, it’s the thing preventing us from flight. ~ Brene Brown”
All success in anything we do starts with us being in control of our minds. Everything that exists in our life today is a reflection of our thinking and yes, we do control our thinking. The ability to choose the thoughts that actually help us grow, instead of the thoughts that we have learned over the years that sabotage our life and leads us to pain, regret, and misery.
This is all part of the process…It all begins with examining our thoughts. Do we truly believe these thoughts? Are we willing to change the thoughts? Are we brave enough to make the changes needed to find happiness, peace, and confidence?
The process is not easy.
Staying stuck is worse.
Let’s talk.
